The Challenge
Alertsify had built a successful $10,000 MRR trading app through their Python desktop application, but the legacy architecture was preventing them from scaling within modern creator economy platforms.
TKinter-based GUI delivered an outdated interface that couldn't integrate with Whop's app ecosystem
Desktop-only approach prevented distribution through Whop's established marketplace
Multiple trading platforms required separate authentication workflows creating security vulnerabilities.
WebSocket connectivity problems caused frequent crashes during time-sensitive options trading
Our Solution
We rebuilt Alertsify as a native Whop App, transforming their desktop trading platform into a seamless, iframe-based, TypeScript web application that leverages Whop's full ecosystem.
Platform runs entirely within Whop's iframe environment with users automatically authenticated through Whop's system
Built with Next.js and TypeScript, delivering full desktop functionality through modern web-based architecture optimized for real-time trading operations
Integrated Snap Trade for unified access to multiple brokerage accounts through a single API
System uses Supabase for scalable data management and WebSocket connections for real-time market data. It also uses Discord webhook integration to send automatic community notifications
The results were immediate: Alertsify generated $6,000+ in revenue within the first 12 hours of launching on Whop's marketplace.
